May in Oregon Inlet

We arrive back to our docks at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center around May 10th or maybe a few days sooner. We will fishing the sounds looking for puppy drum, school stripers and hopefully a few speckled trout. By mid May it should be time to ride the bag or sight fish for cobia. Our drift chumming in the ocean brings black-tip, spinner and hammerhead sharks into easy fly range. Besides sharks we also see cobia and even a few mahi. This is exciting light tackle and fly action. Fly Girl has a awesome tower on her boat and with her huntress attitude she loves to take anglers sight casting for cobia. Don’t miss out!
