The last week of August showed us some good fishing. Had the best fly fishing for speckled trout of the year. Good amount of those nice blues around as well. Albies have shown up in the ocean. When conditions allow we can get out and chase them. Old drum are around when it blows and you don’t mind fishing bait.
Offshore boats have enjoyed the best white marlin fishing since the late 90s.
Over all looks like a fun September. Plenty of time available this month before the migration to Harkers Island / Cape Lookout for the Fall
