July 31st

July is almost gone and it went out with a bang. Both boats enjoyed casting to 6 to 8 pound bluefish with topwater plugs and jigs. After they left we went back into the sound and found a few speckled trout. Water temps in the sound were close to 90 degrees. That will change this weekend with cold front and strong northeast winds. We needed a reset and this will cool our water temps and make our fish much happier
