It was a beautiful day and both Fly Girl and Flat Out had all day trips.
Both boats started out looking for bluefish along the beach front. While looking for bluefish we found a school of big red drum waking on top.. They were as nervous as we have seen them. A 1.5 ounce jig spooked the school but it did get bit. Nice fish close to 30 pounds. Fly Girl found another school of reds in the back but they went down before her crew could connect. Both boats spent the rest of the afternoon chasing some nice speckled trout.
