it has been very hot but speckled trout fishing has been decent to excellent. The last few days it has been very calm and HOT. Water temps today were around 90 degrees. The hotter than normal water temps slowed the trout fishing today.
Fly Girl fished in the ocean today very close to the beach and had a surprise bite with a nice dolphin (mahi) . They also caught a blacktip and Atlantic sharpnose.
We have a BIG northeaster coming this weekend. Next week should be good with water temps back to normal.
