Flat Out had the pleasure of fishing with Matt Canter and dad and brother. We steamed to the twilight zone looking for something big to eat our flies. It was over cast and lots of glare which made it hard to see the critters swimming in our chum slick. We did manage to hook some nice fish on bait, hammer, sandbar, spinners and 250 pound tiger. The tiger just about dumped our Seigler SG before he bit us off. Had several swipes at the fly by the tiger and one black tip.
Matt is one of the partners at Brookings Anglers in Cashier NC. We fished there this spring and they were top shelf. I can wait to get back. Just wish we could of got Matt a big bruiser on fly.
