June 30th

Flat Out had long time client Mark today.  It was slick cam and beautiful.  We went looking for creatures to eat the fly.  Chumming was tough due to almost no wind. No wind usually equals no drift.  We were patient and our first visitor was a small cobia.  Mark sealed the deal and we released a cob on fly.  Then the sharpies began to show and ended up swarming and eating our flies.  Had two more cobia swim in –one about 25 pounds and the last one well over 50.  Neither fish stayed in the slick more than a few seconds.

Thanks Mark
