Feels like somedays we are chasing unicorns. We have had our clients catch plenty of cobia on fly over the years but this year has been challenging. Hard to figure since conditions have had them bunched up for a week.
Long time client and buddy John McMinn endured a long day on Flat Out with two other friends of ours. We showed several fish our flies and we did our part but our quarry wasn’t fooled. I was beginning to feel like we were permit fishing. John was up and had a shot and wiggled the worm just right and came tight.

Sarah had a 1/2 morning trip and put long time clients Peggy and Penny and they fished around the inlet and scored on a cobia on spinning tackle
