It was a beautiful day. The wind and 6″ of rain of the day before were gone. Speckled Trout season in open as of July 1st. There are some new regulations for keeping speckled trout. The bag limit is 3 per person, in the slot limit of 14′ to 20 ” but of your three fish you can if you desire to keep a trophy fish over 26″.
We had good speckled trout fishing today. Popping corks were the best option for catching specks.
