Oregon Inlet and Harkers Island report

Up here out of Oregon Inlet we had north east winds ripping.  Both fished the morning and found decent fishing.  Sarah fished the marshes and had stripers on fly and bait and bluefish.    Brian pounded a few shallow water flats today.  Persistence paid off and they had 4 bites and caught all four.  His first puppy drum of the year all fish were 28 to 31 inches.  Sadly the is a spinning rod fishery as we are not seeing the fish and they are very scattered.

Great news from Harkers Island.  This north wind fired up the albies.  A friend caught mucho albies today on fly–mucho.
